Taking it easy

Hello all,

I Hope everyone is well,
I have been burning the midnight oil, lot of work and no play so to say. I had an extra venue to cover for the last week and a half which meant hiring someone else for the Canuda shifts for Fri/Sat, Though things went better than expected for the Easter holiday, and I met a few new people and got some practice with Spanish.

I am having a little trouble with getting photos posted but I will figure it out, I have a great one of Molly and since She has a big day coming up I think it will be appropriate, and with the pictures of me and Awbrey when she came to visit, that might take a week or two, she will have to buy a piece of hardware for her comp. To be able to download images, though I have plenty to post until then.

For Easter I was working though I didn't mind seeing as how I was outside all day and talking with people the day just flew by.
Easter weekend I went out dancing with a friend of mine and had a lot of fun at a place called "The Harlem Jazz Club" They had a great live band on for a few hours and afterwards there was a DJ that had a decent selection of good dancing music so I would say the night was interesting to say the least.

In other big news I have been having a little trouble with my record player and was receiving poor quality sound and some times none at all so I got to work and took it all apart and for a few wires that needed to be changed (the player is quite old) and went to the hardware store, I am listening to Beethoven's symphony#6 in F major, and let me tell you it sounds beautiful,
no scratching distortion nothing just clean sound so I was ecstatic about that when I got it working properly, and my bird enjoys Beethoven a lot aswell.

I had a break in my Studies for the last week or two and am back at it with much more information from practicing over the work week. We will have a test in May on the 12 and I feel very confident that I will pass it without much difficulty, For passing the class they give you a certificate stating completion of Spanish exam which is good for the old resume.

I have been reading some good ones, hmm....Let me think well I find the Wonderful World Within You to be extremely informative on having healthy nutrition and how important what you eat really is, Another one IM currently reading is a classic IM sure everyone has read "Moby Dick" I haven't read it before at least I don't remember reading it so I figured I would take it for a spin. When IM not reading I have been doing a run regularly and feel like IM ready for something new so I have decided to enter into a Big run that will be for some Spanish celebration or other, its about a hour run and in the end you finish on La Ramblas a big street with lots of people clapping and cheering you on so IM looking forward to that.

Everything is starting to settle down and IM back on my regular schedule again, I hope everyone had a great Easter Holiday and had loads of fun I certainly did I will see what I can do about the picture and get em up.

I hope your all healthy and happy,

What a week

Hello all,

Well Awbrey has come and gone and we had a fabulous time,
Walking by the beach and around town, We made it out to the Gaudi Park (Park Guell) and admired the mosaics and had lunch in a private part of the park...(well sort of private). We even bought a little yellow Canary for me at the gallery. Which we thought was mute for about two days until it started to sing beautifully to our surprise on the third morning.
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see Emily while she was here, we played a little phone tag but that's about all IM afraid, so we will have to make better plans next time.

To make things even more interesting there was a mistake with Awbrey's flight itinerary and she missed her flight, so after a big fee for a new flight we called the other company in the states for the flight from Orlando where her mother lives to Oregon, where they tell us that there will be more fees (Yay) but I got to see her for an extra 8 hours and she will stay an extra week in Florida before returning to school.

I myself am doing great, I decided to wait about another month to really start tutoring more than a few hours a week until my Spanish has improved, no worries though we have signed on to about three new shows (same thing as Canuda just bigger) so I am going to have my hands full running all over town. Still running and received a few books for Awbrey that I haven't started to read yet, I am currently reading "Harts Hope" by: Orson Scott Card and have finished my ocean book(I forgot the name again so I will leave the name as a comment) also me and Awbrey have been reading Sophie's World for about three months when ever we are together which is an interesting way to learn Philosophy, though I also have my own books that I can read on while IM not reading with her that keep me interested.

We have lots of pictures which I am having Awbrey send from her camera so they will be up when I get them in a day or two,
I doing well and enjoying this sunshine and hope everyone is healthy and happy.
