Happy Thanks Giving!

Hello,

I hope you are all enjoying the holidays.

Things here are going great to a point i would say,
I am working around 50-60 hours a week and Awbrey is getting a little depressed with postpartum, but i think we are doing quite well on moving forward and finding a way to keep each other happy.

Ruby is growing, laughing, smiling, and using the bathroom regularly so i think that on that front things could not be much better,

She is a quiet child but knows how to make noise when she feels that something does not suite her.

We had thanks giving at Awbrey's coast house in Newport with all the Moore's.

Everyone had a blast and we all ate very well.


I am working on Banks all over the state of Oregon and have been learning alot of skills i look forward to using on our home when that time comes,

Which will be around 5-9 months from now depending upon how things progress.

Im looking for a place out in the Fox Hollow area which basically means your house comes with land, Which is very exciting to me.


Ruby asked me to thank her grandparents for the gifts (She loves the blanket)

And Jimmy Julie and Emily for the awesome little shoe/bootie/sock combo, Very cool.

I miss you all and hope that things are how you want them to be in your day to day.

Our Baby Is Born

Hello all,


Here we are on an interesting Sat. Morning,

The previous day (otherwise known as) Yesterday? I was thinking to myself,

Hmm.....I only need 10 1/2 hours to make a full paycheck,

Better get busy, So i proceed to work at 8am organizing a disarray of mechanical marvels in the shop know as "The Shop" after several hours of cleaning up i think about the siding i just finshed putting up over the last few months when i wasnt out on a different job around OR,

I say....(British accent) that siding sure needs some caulk before the rains come in,

So without delay i get set up with radio Gun and spare tubes,

near the end of my day about 1 1/2 hour to my goal the oldest member of Lee Built a perculiar fellow named Jerry comes up to me while i was high atop a ladder and says,

"See you at the Bank tonight sunshine?" (We are currently working on a Branch downtown)

To which i reply "certainly PP" (Peppermint Patty for the curious)

Not entirely sure o what im getting myself into i finish caulking and have about 1/2 hour till my goal is complete,

I head to the bank.....

Upon my arrival i discover that Jerry is planning on moving about 23 Temporary walls which i have been building for the past 4 weeks,

The same Walls which we put up about 2 weeks ago so we could work in Privacy,

"Think you can work this out O?"

"Work what out Jerry?"

"Moving these 10 over 1 foot and building another wall out of these 13 on the opposite side of course"

Its now about 5pm and im thinking about my bed and shower,

"Absolutely" i say,

Somewhere from the depths of Tarataros im hit with the strength of Herecles and the mind of DIONYSUS!

But.....

The gods would not make things so easy...

We finished up at about 12pm and i was glad to get home and in bed,

-Next morning around 3am-

Owen is now sleeping,

Owen: *Dreams of large women*

Awbrey: Hmm.... what is this?

My Mucus plug has come loose and i cant seem to find it! (isnt actually a plug...but you all knew that)

Awbrey walks around the house while Owan stirs, smiles, and grunts every hour or so,

She eats, Rests, going deep into herself to prepare for the journey ahead as we have been practicing in our Bradley Method classes,

Her mother has been here since last night and helped her through the begging of our labor,

Getting everything prepared that we had not previously taken care of, Making her food, and pouring (Can you believe i almost forgot how to spell that word....) water over her back as she took Contraction at a time,

Owan: Yes Yes, now tr......*Deep in sleep*

Awbrey: Better let him rest Mom, i will need him later : )

Time goes on and the contraction get closer and harder,

I wake up at 8am and see Awbrey isnt with me anymore,

I stand up feeling the work load from the previous night for the first time,

Venture out of the room to see Awbrey in the Bathtub with the door open smiling at me,

I smile back entering the Room afraid of what i will see in the Mirror,

Awbrey: *still smiling* Im having contractions : )

Owan: are you now?

She goes on telling me how they have been happening since around 4 and have been getting quite strong,

From that moment i knew today was the day,

I called our Midwife at Awbreys request and she tells us to call again in 2 hours as long as everything is ok,

Ok, sounds good to me i say,

I return to the Bathroom and we both agree that timing a few contractions sounds like a good idea,


3 Minutes for that one i think,
2 minutes 45 i think
Ok 2 mins for sure there
Yep they may be getting consistent that was also 2 mins,
O my, this say 1 Min 45
Ok 2 Mins again....



Awbrey: I think you should call Michelle again and let her know i think that im redy to come to the Birth Center,

Ok, i will be right back i say,

By this time our Doula and friend Megan has arrived to help with Awbreys comfort level,

"Hi Michelle"

"Well she thinks its time"

"wait she wants to talk to you"

at this moment we think she was about Very close to being fully dilated,

Michelle tells us to come as soon as we are ready,

Awbrey starts to get very Vocal now, (Quite humorous sometimes)

We drive down the street with Awbrey in the front Megan in the Back and me moving the Mechanical mass of Metal,

I couldnt help thinking to myself about all the people we passed and our neihbors in there cars next to us, If they only looked over or were more aware of there surrounding they would be suprised at what they would see,

We get to the Center and Michelle pulls up same time as us,



1 hour has passed since i woke up.


At this point Awbrey is now fully dilated,

(We think that we have a long way to go)

Between a contraction awbrey asks the Midwife if she can wait a moment before getting inside and upstairs to which she replies


"No" with a smile Reaching for Awbrey before the next contraction,

We make it upstairs get onto the bed and try three positions till we find one we all like,

Durring the course of the Labor i hear Awbrey letting out the inner Goddess and Shaking the house with a Cry of Pain, Joy, Love, Excitement, enough to wake the dead from the grave,

The baby is coming,

Your Doing Great,

Im so proud of you,

Keep it up,

Your doing great,

I love you,

......

The babys head goes from itsi bitsi to Mamoth sized in an instant and before i know it im holding her up for her mother to grab onto and feed,

This was one of the most enjoyable days i have ever had,

2 hours is all that passed from when i woke to when i held our Baby,

Goes to show the strength of Women.

Her name is:


Ruby Rose Stenzel

She weighs 7.8 pounds and is 23 Inched Long.

We love her very much and hope you enjoyed our story.

Work and Play

Hello all,


It feels good to be back.

The last 2 months sure have been something,

After returning from Spain me and Awbrey stayed with her mother Karen and step dad John,
I worked for him and his friend Tony doing landscaping and fixing his fountains.

What was really amazing was to get back to Oregon and see all the old places i hung out and see some old friends and talk to them about where they are going and what has been happening with life on the west coast.

Speaking of the coast i have we took a trip up over the weekend to try and relax before getting into a groove with work and planning,
We decided to have the baby at a birthing cottage with a Midwife,
Well there are 3 Midwives on call and we will try and plan around the schedule of the Midwife we like more.


The baby is a little Girl,
We have new photos in 2D 3D and 4D x rays,
Amazing technology really,


I have a job with a company called Lee Built Construction.
I am currently doing Siding on a big warehouse,
Taking down old Siding laying Tyvek, clean up, and making measurements and cuts on new siding,
I like it very much because i get to work with my hands and learn new skills for the future.


All and all things are heating up and im thinking about floating down the River.

Back in the USA

Hello all,


Things have been heating up as im sure you all have noticed,

Awbrey and I stayed in Florida for 3 weeks before returning to Oregon where we are currently living at her grandma Bettye.


All the paper work has been filed out to get her covered with the Oregon State Health Care,
this allows us to have a baby at a birthing center just down the street from the main hospital downtown, We have a check up this friday where Awbrey and i will find out the sex of the baby in her belly.


The last month or so we have been BusyBacksons getting everything settled and getting ourselves comfortable,

The Baby which Awbrey now calls the Peanut has been kicking and moving and is normally active in the late evening just like me, Awbrey goes to be early and i like to stay up late reading or working on the computer, i found a box of amazing books on the way to the store the other day and have been doing a bit of gardening lately.

We have a few shared raised bed gardens at 2 of in the back yards of two of our friends, Charlie and Megan (Charlie introduced us) and Susie (girlfriend of my friend Joe) they are both great people and we are all excited to get some veggies growing in the coming months.

Betty lives in a small area in the city of Eugene,
we see dear and the raccoons have been showing themselves more and more often,
I spoke with a few people about employment and have a good offer in light Construction/Carpentry with a friend of mine named Sam,

They cover health insurance for me and my partner,
Im going to ask more about that after i get a pay check or two,


I will sit down and get all the details in soon,

This is whats been going on the last month or so.

Happy Easter

And Then There Were 3.

Hello all,


I have been a bit off a Busy Backson the last few weeks,

Not taking any of it to serious mind you, But You could say i have a mountain of Mash Potatos with a little volcano of gravy trying to escape the brim and flow all over the place,

With luck i just so happen to have a big Spoon. <<<


Awbrey is officially out of the hell that was our......We are offically out of the Hell that was our first Trimester and in a few days we will be starting the 2nd,

Everyone loves to tell you about the difficulties in having a child but tends to leave out the 1st. Trimester,

Awbrey was hospitalized about 2 weeks after not being able to eat or drink anything,
I changed my Schedule from the night shift to the morning so i was and am working 8-4,
I get up at 6 though to make the train to work and then walk the Hills of Derpinicus to the Rivers of Yerishnikus, After the great swim i pass the Swams of Xithius to the Hospital San Boi where i have been working the Archives, (back to the topic i suppose)

I would come home after lifting boxes all day and Walk to the Hospital Del Mar,
Get a list of things she would like, Run home, take a Taxi back, Get home at 9 or so and clean up and prepare for the next day, (I was actually quite enjoyable)

I must say it does feel good to have things to do,


Now that we are at home and going through the 12 Labors anymore (1st trimester) things have been slowing down in terms of work and speading up in terms of Pleasure, (still no sexual activites since it all started but thats why we have such wonderful Hands!............Was that not something one says in a blog for his Family back home? I hope not.


We have a few Baby Pictures for you all if your into that kind if thing of course,
The small picture was the First one done, (Small as in the size of the Fetus) The other two show are from the 10th Week point (Or first ultra sound) I know I know......Big nose right?



I stop working on the 13th of April,
We leave here for Florida on the 2nd of March,
Stay for 2 weeks with Abreys Mother whom i havent met,
Then fly to Oregon to her Grandma Betties where we will stay till the babies Born,

After that we plan on moving into Abreys Cottage in Corvallis (After me and her Dad finish the upstairs) Its livable now so we will be fine,

I am looking into info on Becoming a Carpenter/Fire Fighting work in Oregon depending upon When i can start and Pay,

The Website is moving along,
I work on it as often as possible and will not Host it until it is ready to ork for me and not vice versa, I feel good about it and it feels good about me.

How does it feel to be a Grandpa?

Hello all,


I am writing you after a short leave where i have been getting a few things in order and preparing mysel.....Ourselves for a trip back to the states.....

The child is due to be born around,
Late Sept. - Early Nov.
Dont know the Sex yet though.

Wait! was i suppose to ease into that?

Well...that doesnt sound like any fun so there you have it fresh of the press.

What does this mean you may ask?

Awbrey and i will be moving to Eugene OR,
We will be staying with her Grandma Betty till the end of the year more or less,
From there we may move into her house in Corvallis, or make plans for wherever is best for her to continue College for her last 3-4 year puch to get a P.H.D,

Durring the next 24 Months or so i will be working (Quite vigorously i might add) on Pushing the new Website/Company called FunkyButton.com which is not up yet so dont be suprised when you see advertising for Godaddy.com on it, that is my curent hoster and will be for the next two years, I am currently looking into info on Fire fighting in the Oregon area (Due to the increase in temperature i doubt this will be difficult to obtain as employment) From there i may look into National park work/ fishing industy work,

I am a little worried about the sailing aspect with the Future state of the Ocean i think that will continue to be one of the top 3 Dangeous Jobs in North America but i wont let a little number stop me from adventure,

We have gret ideas for FunkyButton and have decided to expand it to more than just a Clothing company but more in the direction of an WorldWide online art show,

This is just speculation but here is our general idea,
We get different clients that do art shows (hand made crafts) throughout the world and give them there own virtual Booth on our site if you use that imagination you can see how after a while with enough expansion this would be an interesting idea, and we are talking world wide, not just US crafters, Awbrey thought that since i am working on Web design we could offer to build Websites for these (Virtual dealers) and have general info about them and a link to the site we build for them on our site.......It gets much better from there,

I would rather not get into the specifics but that will be the general approach and when its fully operational will be a fun project to watch grow,

I am currently working on Graphics for the site with Marcromedia and think the site will be delayed for bit, (Not to long) but long enough to make this work for me instead of Vise versa,

Lets see......

Where was i o yes a Child, thats what i was blurting out.

Awbrey is now a little over 2 months Pregnant and i havent mentioned anything yet because of the possibility of a natural Abortion (for those babies not quite ready) the risk is still there but things have been progressing and i have heard the heart beat of my child so i know that it is alive and As the Hospital said "Heathy" so that about covers that until i know more.



We have thought about marriage and both would like to do so,
however this will take time and will not be rushed as far as im concerned,
I havent rushed anything really in the last 5 years except that time when i was in a foot race with Chris Lesko for bragging rights (I won) and find that by using that fatty Mass incased in the thick shell we call our Skulls before acting you tend to live longer and actually enjoy yourself 95% of the time, (5% of the time is dealing with the ones who do not) but that is niether her nor Wait what was i saying..........Nevermind.



I think i am going to leave it at that for now,
If poor old Pete´s mind was blown by the last few Hurried/At work/Half assed, blogs that i should have wrote correctly i fear this may have a humorous outcome.....

The Mystery?

Hello all,

I hope everyone is enjoying the new year i know i have been doing so.
Work is work and im doing ok with it for now anyway,
The weather here is a bit colder (Not much) than it has been for a while and im enjoying Chilly morning with Awbrey.

She has finished her 3 month class in spanish and went back to buy the Books for the next phase to practice at home and work, She is also teaching alot of English to a variety of different people around the City which i think she is Enjoying alot.

I decided to get started with working for myself this year,
I purchased a Webpage Domain and got is hosted for 2 years, i have been working on the actual page on Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash Which are Macromedia Programs and have been quite successful i might add, The site isnt up yet because i havent transfered the files to the Hosting Company yet, But when it is up and looking great i will let you all know and you can go buy a Shirt, Sweater or what every you fancy.....O yea thats what i decided to start first, a Clothing, Mostly T shirts, Sweaters, Jackets, Online store that is in the 10-15 Dollar price range which i think is what everyone really wants to spend on good clothing......After all thats why i go to Second hand stores.....Anyways its something i have been thinking about for about a year and decided to just do it, so thats what i intend to do.

New Year?

Hello all,

We have a new year ahead of us to make promises to ourselves to change the things it took us this long to notice we didnt like about ourselves....I suppose thats what i was gettig at....Was it?

Anyways,
I am am work and its 7:14 i have two hours to go and i havent done anywork for about an hour...But they (The people everyone refers to (The Universal They) dont have the slightest idea of how much fun im really having not doing my work but lets not push my luck and write a few thoughts into the machine here to send out to you Readers at home.


New years was fun and games all night,
I had work off on Monday so i slept in and Awbrey made a nice bean Soup with Zuccini and Cawwots, We have her cousin and Friend staying with us from England where they are studying at a University, both interesting people who can have a good time if the situation presents one (Which is just about all the time)

I have about 9 to 11 Months ahead of me to save and prepare myself for what im doing next which is most likely taking advantage of the Place i am on the World we live and see a few sites, Travel and decide where we are going to live with the help of Awbrey,

She is feeling and looking great and we have been working out how we live together and laughing at how we dont in some ways, X mas was a sight to see, we have a Charlie brown Tree thats still up and i got a few good ones: Socks, Books, Candle, Love coupons and a fun night,
I made everyone a grand feast for the start of the day, Everything you can think of...well most everything you can think of was tossing and turning and jumping in the Pan and onto plates, it was a good day and we all had fun.

Apart from "Blowing the Minds" of not so old men i have started reading a new Book The Illuminati Trilogy (Got for X mas) i have been Kinda working and getting ready to start hitting the gym a few times a week, We have found a nice place near that beach that isnt to expensive so thats that.

Ok well back to work i suppose,

Fast Track To Taking It Slow

Hello all,


Im here at work and the time is 8 PM,
2 hours to go....so i think its time for a break,
For my Birthday me and Awbrey went out to the Mountains of Mont. Serrat,
We hiked for about 5 hours all the way to the top of the Mountain, She got me some new boots and paid for the Hotel room for my Present,

We talked about future plans how long we would like to stay here,
With the Contract for next year i think i will stay till Oct (In Spain)
At that point i should have a good amount saved up and the way the Euro is going i should be able to make out quite well,

Awbrey has a few friends that she would like to see in Tailand and asked if i would be interested in going there to which i thought about the fact i dont have anywhere to go back to in the States and would like to start learning another language before i leave, so why not,

Still just a thought though we havent made any official plans yet,
Work is interesting,

I work the night shift with a Big gay man (Luis) and a man named Pablo (Pao)
Luis loves to sing songs from Spanish Divas to me and Pao,
Pao doesnt seem to enjoy it much, but me i can see the happiness that Luis gets from it and that in itself is enough for me to clap at the end of a song : )
Pao and me practice Language with each other, He has lvl Discotech right now but its getting better i think,

Which make me think of Awbrey teaching jobs,
She teaches 2 Lawyers 1 young Boy a DR. and 1 of the Lawyers Children,
Which gives her plenty of time to practice what she wants to do as her Career,
She is feeling much more comforatable and seems happy enough to me.

I myself am just thinking baout whats next,
When i leave here i will almost be 21 which means i should get a business up or a way of having an income, I have a few ideas but it all depends on where we come back to in the states so i will have to keep you all posted.

Still dont know exatcly whats up for Christmas so that will have to wait till next post,

The Day Of Birthing

Hello all,


It is currently 2:50 Am and i hear a roudy group of people walking about 5 storys below in the street on the way home from the Bars no doubt.

I am not all that tired, in fact i dont really get tired till around 2-3 am,
i dont mind though it give me even More time to think about things!
Like my new job for one,

I just signed a Contract that guarantees 5 months of Work and mabye more for a company called Docuteca, i am working in the main office ECA and am happy to know that i will have money when i leave here, My Boss calls me THE MAN FROM MINNESOTA in a thick Spanish Accent and i laugh in his face.

Halloween was fun as you can see some Cooking and a little Pumpkin carving to boot,
Awbrey and i even cooked seeds that night after we got home from dancing.
I will post some Pics of the House here and i can send you some of the ones i can fit when i get off work tommaro, i have a 2-10 Shift in the evening Mon-Fri and i get to Work on my B Day : )

Awbrey is doing better than she was at first,
She is actually quite happy and she has students and is taking a spanish class also,
I am thinking about what i would like to do in the future and also what i want to do for my B Day, I think i had better take a trip out of the city before i start pulling up Concrete and planting Trees or something in that category if there is one.....Hmm also worth a bit of thought,

Something to giggle about is that i have quite good Gas,
Some people may call it bad, but to me.....Well i will just say its been a true delight, Awbrey cannot stand it really but that is the name of the game,

I sent out a Mass Email with my Adress but i think a street name was wrong so i will be resending that tommaro as well,
For now i just thought that you might want to know what going, and what i have planned for future goings ons,

Always look on the bright side of ____?

Hello all,



Sorry to be away for so long, things were moving as planned and it took a bit to get the internet up and running, with a little help from our new niehbors donwstairs (One of whom works in Information Tech.) helped me figure out what i was doing wrong.

So........With out further delay this is whats been going on in he Life Of Owen
I am wrting this from the bed of me and Awbrey's new Apt, its in the Gothic Quarters and i could wlk to the giant Cathedral in about 67 seconds from my front door,

We live on the top floor and there are over 150 stairs to walk up and down each day so i am staying in shape, I just finished a work contract with a company called Docuteca which contracted me to work in a Hopital in the Records Department, Not the most interesting job but i worked with good people and was able to practice spanish 8 hours a day Mon-Fri which helps.

I have about 13 days of vacation till my next contract starts, And this time i m working in a Mental Hospital (Big Smiles) I doubt i will get to interact with the patients much though seeing as how i will be working in the records department but who knows.....So work is picking up and i feel comforatable with that for now.

It took Awbrey a while to get used to living here, she missed her family friends and a few other things aswell, Alot of "big changes" She is much happier now though, i talked to the parents of the little boy Victor who i was teaching and she is now his Tutor 2 days a week, also we found another student who pays well for her to teach around 2 times a week also but that may change,

More good news is that she has a Digital Camera and we can Pic you all to death now,
I just need to take a look at it, Awbrey is scared of Technology in her own cute way, Im going to start teaching her how to use her new Comp. she bought before comming here,

This is the current going ons in The Life Of Owen,
Im a little sick at the moment but i took some mixtures of earth born plant mixtures in Water and am sure i will be feeling much better in shortly.

I will do my best about getting the Photos up soon and you can expect more writing comming your way, I hope your all healthy and doing what makes you happy.

Quiet Before The Storm

Im getting ready to head out the door to a Teaching job,
I have a new Student a little boy and today is our first lesson together.
I have the lesson plan ready and bought a new notepad to take notes of what we go over, As far as employment goes i also have recently recieved employment working in the Records department of the Hospital of Catalunya working 5 days a Week 8 hours a day, In addition i will haev the art shows on Sat. unless Awbrey wants to make a bit of money.

She will be here on the 3rd of Oct. and i am very happy the long wait if finally over, It has been interesting to say the least.
I have a new apartment for us in teh Gothic Quarters and its on the fourth floor,
We have a sunny room and lots of space so i can safely say things are looking up.

Im still swimming as often as possible and have been playing B-Ball before had to wake up a bit, Molly and my Grandpa Leonard will be here around the end of this month so we will have a full crew when Awbrey arrives,
The new Computer is woring great and i have been writing about once a week or so just to make space in my head for fresh ideas and keep me fresh.

The Weather here has been a little more to my likings the last 3 weeks with alot of Rain and a little sun, thats one of te things i miss the most, The weather, i also decided that imiss the Holidays, when i heard they dont celebrate Halloween i became a little sad, also when i heard that Steve Erwin died it got worse but thats life i suppose.

Born To Run

Hello all,



IM glad you like the pictures I will get a few more up here today,
The time is ticking down till Awbrey gets here and I have been slowing down and making sure I get everything ready for her......Well also taking it easy for myself, been swimming a lot and I got a gym membership to stay fit, though I think a good run and a swim a few days out of the week do me just fine.


The Website IM working on is looking good, its a bit exciting to build actually, I have never done so before and the software is very easy to get along with, we have only had about two fights,
I have been looking around the city or a job to pay for rent and the other things people need to survive, I wont be able to start the boating program until I can understand the language better, I could join but I don't want to miss anything that's all, And the other boating job isn't available for a few months.


So IM just taking her easy out here and doing what makes me happy until I get back into the machine they call the "Real World" IM still trying to figure that one out, I have some ideas though IM not 100% about it.
I have decided to start writing a book about some of the things camp in my head, I need more room and what better way to get them out,
IM hope my Dad and Catherine can help with the editing seeing as how they have the credentials for that type of work and I have no idea myself, just a lot of material.

Well its 11:00Am and the city awaits,
IM off to get a Job.

Back from the dead

Hello all,



Its good to be back up on my feet, I have been sick the last few weeks with a some kind of infection, the doc said it was Summer Flu.
IM not to good with the heat, it tears me up, and the last few days have been bad : )
I did have some time however to work on my Website and think of some new things.

The New Computer is a Hewlett Packard, it has all the new stuff you can get DVD/CD burning Wireless Internet, and many other nice little things that I have been playing with, It has 60GB on the drive and I think 512 Scan Dram don't quote me on that lat one though, It helps me with my writing which I have been doing a lot of lately and it gives me a place to put my ideas which I like "My head was starting to fill up fast"

This week I started teaching English, I was a bit nervous at first seeing as how this was a first for me and I don't know Spanish well enough to explain complex thoughts, I did fine though and had two lessons so far and have my next planned for Monday, I have taught her Vowels and the Verbs that I think are important in the English language like sleep, eat, laugh, sing, dance, Run, walk, see, ETC.

Other than the being sick as a dog and teaching part of life I am getting ready for my sweetie to get out here which should be around the end of Sept. I have found a place for us and have been speaking with two company about a job working on Boats,
One is actually fixing the boats and the other is working on a sailing crew.
I was going to see if I have time for both seeing as how that is something I want to do in the future.

Awbrey is currently in Orlando with her mom and sister, she got a job as a waitress after she cut her Resume in half, I think she called it stupiding it up though in more creative words, which we both thought was quite funny.

I have a few good pictures of the two of us that I can get up here, the website didn't accept them from the computer so I had to host the pictures on my PicHotel account and copy the URL address here but I got it working so they will be u shortly.

I hope that everyone is having fun and doing a little better than I am with this heat Whew! Is it hot out here.

New Ideas

Hello everyone,

Im glad to hear that the big party went well, its to bad I couldn't make it.
I have my new computer here and am using it to right this blog, and have started to really start writing down some of the ideas I have also made an area for few boo ideas I have in mind.

The last month has been quite busy, im doing well just a little tired,
I have found a nice place for me and Awbrey to stay when she gets out here, she just Graduated and has been getting things ready and working out house situation I think everything will be just fine.

I was thinking that I will be staying here for another year afterwards returning to the states, Awbrey will be able to teach through a program that gives you choices or States or cites to work in and we have been thinking Alaska, though there are still a few options out there.

Right now im just looking forward to seeing her and living with her no more phone in between us, Other than the working and getting ready for Awbrey, like I said I have been writing, also I just got this great software by Macromedia called Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks, which allows me to build any type of website I can dream up, its very exciting and a way for me to start a business, I have also been designing T-Shirts which I also really enjoy, it allows you to be creative for yourself and not someone else, the more and more I think about it I want to be self employed.

My language skills are always improving and I like to think back to how it was when I first started and laugh at myself, also I have Been running and swimming a little more than I normally do to unwind from all the work.
The beaches are just right this time of year and I have been swimming at Barceloneta beach though I would like to get out to Manorca because the water is clear and the sand is white, Although I do miss jumping into a clod lake in Oregon and having a long swim, I tried to explain to a few of my friends what the Polar bears were, (The Club) and they thought I was crazy, that's one thing I miss, cold weather.


I have everything ready to get some pictures up here and have about 3 blogs without them so I will just post post post and show you all how our week was together when
Awbrey was here with me,

Keepin busy

Hello all,


Boy o Boy what a week, the city is starting to get alot more people knocking on her doors and comming in. Which means business is picking up so im working alot more which is ok by me, i have been taking Sundays off to go to the beach and swim alot, yesterday i swam out to the yellow bouies* not sure what there called, anyway the big floating things that tell you not to go past that point, it was a great a day and i wasnt in the mood to work so i hit the beach.

I have been painting alot and getting ready for Awbrey to come out here, we are thinking around the end of Sept. she graduates in two weeks says she will work a bit more in Oregon get somethings figuered out with whats shes doing and fly to Orlando FL. and stay with her Momma for a few months and save up some $money$ then get on a plane and get out here.

I will be getting my comp. in the states since my mom is there i can have her get it and pay her when she gets here, I think its best to get it there with the current market rates on the U.S dollar and the Euro right now something like 1.29 i should be able to save myself a little bit of money and get a pretty good one. I will have it when they return in about a month from the states.

So all and all lots of work a bit of play and also alot of reading, i am currently reading The Wonderful World Within You Author: Dr. Roger J. Williams and i would reccomend this one, very interesting information about the body and eating, and it only cost 50cents in the states and a thrift store that i used to shop at in Eugene, Also i found the entire Prince collection on vinyl here for only 25 euros at this little store tucked away in some back roads, something like 9 albums total i couldnt believe it.


I should be getting the Photos from Awbrey one of these days she couldnt figuere out how to use the camera with the computer so she just mailed the pictures to me, so this may take a while.
Other than that everything is going great, i hope its the same for everyone else,

Can you pass the Sun lotion?

Hello all,


The Sun has been comming down and the weather is looking nice.
I have been working alot recently with my classes in spanish finished for the moment i ahve had time to make money which i am enjoying.
Awbrey will here around Sept. and this time she isnt leaving in a few weeks, We are planning on staying here for a year mabye a year and a half not sure yet though, we have some fun ideas planned while we are here like a long hike/pilgrimage, Its about a week and you get to walk outside sleep outside and live outside so i was ready to go when we started looking at information on it.


Other than the work side of Barcelona and me i have been swimming in the sea about 3 days a week and am getting a nice tan, The water is great and the beach is crawling with interesting people that are up for good conversation.
I have been looking around and found a few new record shops around town and met a man who has one of the biggest collection of Rock & Roll memorabilia i have ever seen, I Dug out a few books to read im currently in the middle of Refusing to be a Man which is different essays about just that, My friend Ramone got me a ZZ Top record and a book on Zen that he had in english so i showed him the book i have been reading by Alan Watts "The Way of The Zen" he also gave me a book on Feng Shwey (not sure how to spell that) gardening book.


I talked to Molly and she seemed happy with life and where things are going, Busy but happy, Skylar moved to a great place and is starting his University Education so i am proud of both of them and they seem to be doing what makes them happy.
I have alot of personal studies that i have been working on over the last couple years and enjoy teaching myself information that interests me, I havent stop spanish, i get practice every day and speak it as often as possible which is most of the time, after spanish i want to start on another language, most of the people i talk to speak at least two or three and i think that Europe is great for learning Language. I was thinking French or Italian or one of the types of Russian though im not quite sure gotta start while im still young, thats the best time.


I have been meeting different types of people that found there way here one way or another and have a few places i can stay around Europe when i get back on the road, I miss the Snow already and cant wait till things get cold again but cant really complain because i can swim alot with this weather.
So its really just alot of work, a little play, and lots of information in my life right now. Im getting a little better at the guitar but just a little and have been messing around with an old keyboard for fun, o ya my coin collection is building fast, they have alot of people who sell North American coins that dont really know the actual worth so i have a few places i buy from, mostly alot of Morgan and Peace Dollars buffalo nickels and different Pre-1960 half dollars silver mostly.
