Barcelona and Me

Things in Barcelona are moving along smooth and easy,

I have realy stared to get into painting out here, mostly Sea shell necklaces that i sell on fridays and saturdays in Canuda,
As soon as figure out how to post pictures i will get some of the shells i have painted posted so you all can see exactly what it is im talking about.
Besides work i have been doing alot of running by the ocean and socializing with the natives, everyone is very friendly and seems to mean well, (with a few exeptions) last night i had a run in with a few men who thought they would try to steal my wallet though it didnt work out to well for them. (It was quite intresting to say the least) other than that though i love the city and the people, i learn new things everyday and am enjoying life as it comes.

I have started reading a new book i recived from Awbrey called All about Love/Author Bell Hooks/ and find that she has an interesting way of thinking about life and love together, School is great because i havent been in school for a year or so and its nice to be back in the swing of things and our proffessor is quite funny/Interesting.

I will get to work on the pictures today and see if i cant get them posted by the end of the night,

Im Back On The Road

Hello all,

I am currently in Barcelona, Espania working and learning Espanol (also Catalan very soon) so i have my hands full.
The country is wonderful and the people are friendly enough to get around the city without much trouble, i have been here for about two weeks and am working in a gallery selling art as well as paintings, and on Viernes and Sabado i get out in the streets and sell jewlery (mostly to tourists) at a little booth in a place called Canuda which is good because it gives me a chance to practice my Spanish with my customers that speak it.


Awbrey is planning on coming up in March around the twenty fifth or so, she will be staying for a little over a week and going back to Corvallis OR, she will receive her Bachelors degree in Social Justice Pedegogy, ( I think in April though i dont have the exact dates as of yet).
We were thinking of going on a major road trip throughout the U.S.A Mostly looking for national parks to go camping, and taking a little vacation from work, travel, and the day to day work weeks.
